WACO

The City of Waco is helping to bring the Texas Solar For All program to qualifying households in Waco and help these households save at least 20% on their electricity bills. Through a Solar Ambassadors program and a community advisory board, the City of Waco will educate the community about going solar, other energy-saving opportunities for homeowners, and inform them about the Texas Solar for All program. In addition to providing free rooftop solar installations, this program will fund scholarships for Texas State Technical College (TSTC) students in the Solar Energy Technology degree program in Waco. There will also be pre-apprenticeship training to prepare students entering a degree program such as Solar Energy Technology.

The City of Waco is currently accepting applications.

City of Waco is partnering with Houston Advanced Research Center (HARC) to implement this program. If you have any questions or are interested in learning more about this program, contact us here or visit the City of Waco website.
